Created primarily for cartographic and reference purposes.

Description

This is the Virginia/Maryland state boundary from the Chesapeake Bay across the Eastern Shore to the Atlantic Ocean. It was extracted from USGS Digital Line Graph data. This boundary was visually verified to be in very close proximity to VGIN county boundary data published in 2015.
