Summary

Compiled for coastal resilience planning so public access infrastructure can be viewed in the context of sea level rise and coastal flooding.

Description

These are sites where the public can access the water on the Virginia Eastern Shore. They are primarily boat ramps but also include beaches, bulkheads, docks and other areas where public assess to the water is allowed.

Description
The Nature Conservancy received public access site point data from both Accomack County and Northampton County. These sites were merged into a single feature class with consistent attributes and in some cases verified and edited based on high resolution aerial imagery.
