Created primarily for cartographic and reference purposes.

Description

This is the Accomack/Northampton County boundary from the Chesapeake Bay across the Eastern Shore to the Atlantic Ocean. It was extracted from USGS Digital Line Graph data. Where it crosses land, this boundary was edited to match VGIN county boundary data published in 2015. Where the boundary crosses water it was edited to be consistent with 2013 high resolution aerial imagery.
